Haiti Photography

In 2018, I had the pleasure of visiting Haiti for the second time in six years. This trip consisted of visits to Haiti’s north coast at Cap-Haïtien and Ouanaminthe, as well as the Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince and the nearby Grand-Goâve/Gressier area. This time around I got to see some memorable places, including the iconic UNESCO World Heritage sites, Citadelle Laferrière and Sans-Souci Palace. I’ve traveled throughout Latin America and I’ve experienced a lot of different countries and cultures, but Haiti is the place that remains the most memorable and unique to me.

The photography featured here captures a bit of each area in the country that I visited and experienced, as well as some of the work that I did for Haiti Made. I hope my work will inspire you to visit Haiti and experience the Haitian la joie de vivre (joy of life) for yourself! Bondye Beni Ayiti! (God bless Haiti)
